History

In April 2006, it happened to be the birth of [PC] in Guild Wars...
Since then a lot of time has passed and many players that have formerly joined us have become either inactive due to a lack of interest and time, or have simply turned to playing another game to kill time until the arrival of GW2.
What has remained are a few brave warriors, that still love Guild Wars with all its facets and can look back on past times and look forward for the things to come.

At the establishment in the fall of 2006 we did not yet know what will be awaiting us. After we have taken up more players on board as a reinforcement, it became clear to us that we want to be able to cover the whole range of what GW has to offer. So as the year progressed, our guild grew up to contain about 20 members, of which only very few have remained until now.
At the same time the guild has joined a great alliance and has established many friendships with other guilds.

The first steps have been made in 2007 to take it to another level. The beginning was already on the 1st of January 2007, where our guild team celebrated its first victory in the famous Hall of Heroes. But soon we left our alliance and some of the guilds followed us.
At our side we had "Die Skelettfront" with which we had a special friendship. In the late fall of that year we decided to fuse both guilds into one for our common goal - the GvG. Also in the PvE realm, we have made successful attempts to conquer the elite areas where specially Kanaxai had to suffer many deadly defeats. And this was also where connections to other players where made that would have a mentionable influence on the guild in the future. At the end of August, the first and successful meeting of the guild members was made in Leipzig, Germany. In the progress of that year our guild contained up to 30 members and we looked confidently toward the future.

2008 - the year of descent and ascent. At the beginning of that year, PvP got neglected more and more due to the entry of many new members. There was a need for change, which also came in April. About half of the active members left us and founded a new guild. For those that stayed it was quite disappointing, but at the same time it was also liberating. From then on we fully concentrated on playing GvG and partook in the Guru Cup in the beginning of July. We suffered a disappointment from the legendary update that contained the removal of VoD. In August we had our second annual guild meeting in Leipzig and up to 14 members celebrated for a week with good food and drinks. Until the end of the year our guild grew again to 20 players and led an alliance with befriended guilds.

Change - that's what 2009 already stands for. In February we took a courageous step towards joining an international alliance, which also included some befriended guilds. Next to nice evenings and the refreshing of our English skills, it came about that we controlled a city for the first time. Following that, in the beginning of June, there was an additional change that would influence the guild's structure as a whole - we became an international guild. Next to Greek support, 6 members of [eS] joined us, coming from Switzerland, France and Belgium. With their help it was possible for PvP again on a regular basis. In July our new guild's website went online.

Future Plans:
Because our old alliance has become inactive, we will try our luck again and build up a new alliance with [TfdU]. Furthermore, the next annual guild meeting is set for August, which we hope will be another success. The GvG part shall also actively return to our guild that should be possible thanks to the new support. We also hope and wish for a good balance between PvE and PvP in the future. What's left to say is thank you to ALL the loyal [PC] members - to many further great years!

Thank you to Schül for the translation!
